Should I download for Windows or macOS?
If your computer runs Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), choose the Windows edition. If you use a MacBook, iMac, or Mac Mini, choose macOS.
What should I do if the OS shows a security warning during installation?
As the installer is newly released and updating code signing certificates, Windows Defender or macOS Gatekeeper may show a confirmation dialog. On Windows, click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'. On macOS, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and select 'Open Anyway'.
Does the app update automatically when a new version is released?
When a new release is available, PIA Cowork displays a notification allowing you to update at your convenience without interrupting ongoing work.
